Are your barrels chrome-lined? Why not?

Our barrels are QPQ coated which stand for quench, polish, then quench again to ensure the entire barrel is coated. It is a salt-bath nitride, which provides for a longer barrel life than chrome-line. The barrel extensions are installed but not torqued to spec until after the QPQ process is complete, to ensure the extension will not come loose. The QPQ process has shown to have much better resistance to throat erosion than chrome lining, without affecting accuracy.
